A Charter School is a state-funded program that allows schools to operate with more flexibility than traditional public school. Charter Schools are similar to public schools in many ways, including being required to meet all state graduation and testing standards. All those who qualify for graduation receive a state-accredited high school diploma, just like you receive at a traditional public high school.
Taylion Academy is tuition-free and accepts students who apply on a first come, first serve basis. There are no requirements for entry other than a desire to learn. Unfortunately we are limited to the number of students we can accept, so if more than the allotted spots have been spoken for prospective students will be placed on a waiting list.
Taylion Academy, like many charter schools, operates as an open-enrollment charter school and serves all students, not just those who meet selected criteria. As a public school, there is no cost to attend and admission is not based on an external characteristic, such as academic ability or family income.
